Bocci 73v Sculptural Cable
The 73V Sculptural Cable, by Bocci, is an expansion of the technique used to create Bocci’s popular 73 series. The new pendant features a novel oblong shape and gradient color range. The resulting shape has a formal and textural expression intuitively associated with fabric, which becomes permanent and rigid as it cools. A light source is placed at the top of each pendant, accentuating the volumetric perception of the piece as well as the gradation of color. This piece is designed to occupy a horizontal plane that deviates from its gravitational directive, with the use of a black or brushed nickel sculptural cable. Fixtures are hung from any number of optional suspension points mounted away from the canopy, available with the number of pendants ranging from 1 to 61; custom configurations are also available.
