Sapphire Wall Sconce
The Sapphire Sconce by Joseph Pagano is inspired by a continued fascination with gemstones and crystals. Three milled and hand finished satin brass arms clasp hand-cut blown glass gemstones, the focal point of the wall sconce. The edges of the gemstones are hand chipped while the glass is still molten hot, the chips then polished with the heat of the furnace, resulting in a beautiful fritted appearance, each gemstone uniquely hand formed. Comprised of many overlapping glass prisms, the Sapphire changes appearance at every angle, forming a dynamic matrix of shapes and light available as both the Sapphire Wall Sconce and Sapphire Pendant.
