Andon Wall Sconce
The Andon Wall Sconce by Joseph Pagano is hand built and finished using traditional processes in Hudson Valley NY. Inspired by ancient Japanese lanterns, this sconce is a refined expression of sculptural lighting, with its elite craftsmanship and detailing being hallmarks of Pagano Studios. Molten glass is ladled straight from the furnace and poured into the Andon exterior, cooling instantly as it hits the cold metal and creating unique patterns of weaving internal fractures much like frost patterns in clear ice. Nested within the metal structure, a 100W LED emits a warm, natural glow through this cast glass. The Andon is offered in a range of rich metal finishes, including satin brass, dark bronze and onyx, and is designed for versatility across interior environments. Also available as a Pendant.
