The L’arc Swivel Sconce, by Materia Designs, is part of the L’arc collection, and was designed with maximum configurability in mind. The L’arc’s brass arm swivels from side to side, while its three brass elbows articulate to shed light exactly where you want it, perched on either a small brass or American hardwood armature, that can be installed horizontally or vertically on a wall, or overhead on the ceiling. Composed of solid brass, American hardwoods, with shades made of calfskin or goatskin parchments; considered “living” materials, and can change shape or shift during acclimatization or due to changes in heat or humidity once installed.
