We found inspiration this month in this stunning custom Mandelbrot Credenza from DeJong & Co.  The oxidized walnut has such handsome, rich depth of color and character . . . dark chocolate brown leaning towards black, with black leather door and drawer fronts and handmade brass pulls and feet.  This is the perfect expression of looks that we love:  minimal design with well thought out details and exquisite craftsmanship.

It got us thinking about the beauty of black, and how impactful an injection of this color of all colors can make in a room setting.  Gathered below are some of our faves, ranging from a black Perle to black horsehair, glass, leather, ceramic and everything in between.    (And, obviously, a black cat.)  Enjoy!
